Imaginary Lines
Imaginary Lines is an original theatre production written by Michael J. Krym, & directed by Barry T. Brodie. It is the story of a Polish family living on the Eastern front of the war and trying their best to lead a regular life.
We started on this journey in hopes of keeping history, and more importantly, the devestating repercussions of a conflict as deadly as WWII, alive as a topic of discussion in the arts. So few of our youth remember beyond what is presented on television & film that it is important to keep this discource going. Especially with the tumultuous socio-political frontier ahead of us.
The production will be presented in Windsor, ON., but our hope is that with the right financing we cannot only tour Canada, but also share the stories that are often lost amidst the horrors of war.
Our goal is to raise this money in allignment with the 79th Anniversary which marks the outbreak of WWII (September 1st, 1939).
What $5,000 can get us?
- A chance to purchase authentic costumes.
- A functioning, and portable stage.
- Payment for the cast & crew, who is amongst some of Windsor's best, and who seldom see payment this far South in Canada.
- Further sponsorship. There is interest in contributing to this, but we NEED the help of our friends & families to get that started.
$5,000 is an achievable goal which we hope to use as a building block. That means only $20/person from 250 people. Our top donors will receive free tickets and a VIP reception with the cast & crew.
