I'm cutting all my hair off for charity!
After living with thick, long hair all my life, my hair has begun to define me... but no longer!
I want to donate as much of my hair as possible to the Little Princess Trust to allow them to make a wig for a child who has lost their own hair, whilst also raising money for charities that have helped me in my own personal struggles.
I have struggled with my mental health for years, and want to raise money for some charities that have been pivotal in my recovery - Mind, First Steps, and Beat. These three charities work to eradicate the stigma of mental illness, help to support those who live with them and offer advice and guidance to those who care for people with mental illnesses - they are 3 amazing charities.
So please donate whatever you can! This is a huge challnge for me because me - my hair has become a big part of my identity and losing it will be so so hard, but its for such a good cause and it can go to much better use than being sat on top of my head!
