Give these 11 girls a new life

Donation protected
On November 3 2015 eleven girls, ranging from 7 to 17 years of age, were rescued from a cybersex den in Iligan, on the island of Mindanao. Their names are Apple, Anida, Charmae, Lyka, Anisa, Asliah, Cherry Mae, Maria Fe, Marjurie, Anjie and Shaira.

For more than two years, I was undercover as a journalist investigating suppliers of online child sex abuse in the Philippines and identifying their customers.

I worked closely with the Women and Children Protection Centre of the Philippine National Police and the International Justice Mission, an American NGO to expose the trade in child abuse. We succeeded in rescuing these children.

In collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare and Development, me and my team secured the girls to a secret shelter to heal and to protect them against members of the cybersex network.

Slowly they are doing better. Funds, however, are very limited, and the girls need clothes and personal items. We don't want them to disappear into the 'system' but these girls deserve a chance at a better life. Some want to become a teacher or a nurse; others will want to warn children of the evil they encountered.

They represent a ray hope for many of the ten thousands of underage Filipino girls who are used in webcam exploitation every day.

It would be fantastic to collect 1.000 euros in two months time to provide in their basic needs. One euro makes a difference. It means two clothing items.

On the picture, you see five of the girls, 4 of whom were rescued. One is missing
