Isamilo International School Mwanza (IISM) is an international school in Mwanza, Tanzania, just south of the Serengeti and on the banks of Lake Victoria.
Our secondary school is a diverse collection of students from different nationalities, ethnicities and religions, but is marked by a strong sense of community. Now the girls’ football team and boys’ rugby squad have the opportunity to share IISM community and Tanzanian spirit abroad!
Berlin Metropolitan School in Germany has invited students from IISM to do a sports invitational and cultural exchange in December 2018. This will be a unique opportunity for IISM athletes to experience the life of German students at an international school in a city full of art, music, history and adventure!
Between the football and rugby matches, visits to historic and cultural sights, and spending time with the host families, the students are sure to find this a valuable contribution to their education and development.
