Breast Cancer Surgery/JP Drain Care
Donation protected
My name is Jennifer Baker, and I am a breast cancer survivor since July of 2012. After my latissimus flap surgery, I was frustrated because I had nothing to manage my JP drains.
The hospital did not provide me a way to manage these four drains I had dangling, and especially not a way to manage the tubes or something for the shower or bath. All they said was, "pin them to your clothes." Well it is kind of hard to pin them to your clothes in the shower, just saying. Needless to say, my husband was not ok with this and was determined to find a solution to this cumbersome problem. Thus, our company, i-Inspire LLC was born!
My husband then designed a bag to go around the waist to hold the bulbs, but there still was an issue with managing the drain tubes. This led to his development of a uniquely engineered clip within the bag to secure the drain tubes and hide them from view. Genious!
It is our mission to help patients struggling through breast cancer have an easier recovery, including being provided a product to help manage these annoying drains after surgery free of charge.
Please help us help women struggling through their breast cancer journey have at least one less struggle and provide an easier recovery. Every little bit helps!
100% of donations will go specifically toward providing these post-mastectomy recovery bags to women nationwide. These women will be profoundly grateful. Trust me, as a breast cancer patient I know!
Thanks in advance and God bless you!
Sincerely,
