New York's Ice Hockey in Harlem and Philadelphia's Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation will face-off in a head-to-head fundraising battle in recognition of #GivingTuesday. Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities, and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide.

Help Ice Hockey in Harlem become Face-Off Fundraiser Champs!

The competition will commence at 1pm on Friday, November 25th when the New York Rangers take on the Philadelphia Flyers.  It will conclude at 11:59pm on Giving Tuesday, November 29th.

Donors and supporters of the two organizations can visit the respective websites of Ice Hockey in Harlem (www.icehockeyinharlem.org) and Snider Hockey (www.sniderhockey.org) to make contributions online or by mail. All donations are tax deductible. The organization that raises the most money by the end of #GivingTuesday will be crowned #FaceOffChamps.

“The real winners of this friendly competition will be the boys and girls of both programs who, through hockey, are learning life lessons and how to succeed in the game of life,” said Scott Tharp, President, Snider Hockey.

John Sanful, Executive Director of Ice Hockey in Harlem agreed, "Snider Hockey and Ice Hockey in Harlem are committed to improving the social and academic well-being of children through the sport of ice hockey. This initiative will positively impact many deserving boys and girls.”
