Hello. My name is Tom and somebody stole my igloo.
Background:
I am a sound artist from New York who specializes in intimate and innovative spatial sound experiences with 8 speakers setup in a circle. For a many of these experiences, I used a 32 foot inflatable igloo to create a quiet, isolated and insulated environment that would make it possible for people to escape easily without the distraction of everything else around. Story:
On December 1st, 2016 however, my van was stolen with the igloo in it and although the van was recovered, the igloo was not (sad face). I looked and looked and looked but could not find it. I was even on the news (See Figure 2 lol again).

I was hoping that it would be recovered but it was not.
I was hoping my insurance would cover it, but it did not.
So I am reaching out to the community to help me pay for Igloo 2.0. Any donation would be very much appreciated and go towards an art project that many members of the art community can utilize, appreciate and experience.
Final Thought:
I typically have a very hard time asking for help as I am stubborn AF and am as self-sufficient as I am able to be so this is a herculean feat for me to actually reach out to the community for assistance and I would not be doing it if I could figure out a way to do it on my own. Thanks again to anyone that donates and hopefully I can thank you in person someday in Igloo 2.0 with a hug that lasts just the right amount of time!
