Iggy's Medical Fund

Iggy is a 1-2 year old staffie mix that was found in Hampton County VERY pregnant. She was taken to the Hampton County Animal Shelter and after being on "stray hold" for five days, the call went out for potential fosters so she would not have to give birth- outdoors- in a shelter. Eunoia Rescue, who pulls from kill shelters, offered to take responsibility for her and her pups, and she is now in foster care. We are anxiously waiting for the arrival of the puppies.
Iggy is a little cautious when first meeting someone new but warms very quickly. She is very affectionate and sweet. So far she's interacted with cats and has shown no aggression. Because of her advanced stage of pregnancy, she's only met two other dogs, and she was cautious but open. 
We are unsure how many puppies Iggy will be having but they will all need to be vaccinated, dewormed and eventually spayed/neutered. Iggy herself will also need to be vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm tested and spayed.  Eunoia Rescue has graciously taken Iggy and her babies into their care and we are trying to help raise funds so they can continue to pull dogs from kill shelters.
