Hello Everyone,
My name is Christian Shakir-Ricks. I am a 17-year-old senior at Murrieta Mesa high school. I’m a Track and Field Sprinter. My dream is to participate in the 2024 Olympics. I am dedicated to the hard work it's going to take to be a successful Olympian Athlete and live out my Dream.
I am currently ranked top 5 in the state of California in all my sprinting events. (My Track & Field Profile). I recently helped my high school bring home their first CIF Southern Section Division 2 Track and Field Championship Title with 1st place wins in the Men’s Varsity 4x400 & 4x100 Relays. I also took home 1st place wins in the 100m and 200m dash.
I would love to have the opportunity to participate in the USA Junior Outdoor Track and Field Championship in Bloomington, Indiana from June 15, 2018 - June 17, 2018. (USATF Junior Outdoor Championships). Participating in this event would help qualify me for participation in the 2018 IAFF World U20 Championships in Tampere, Finland (2018 IAAF World U20 Championships).
Please help support me with my goal of raising $1000 to cover cover airfare, local travel, hotel and meal expenses.
