I'm Thankful for....

Specialized Assistance Services (SASI) is a 42-year-old medication assisted treatment (MAT) facility located in Chicago (outpatient) and Manteno, IL (residential) where we serve approximately 500 patients annually.  In Chicago, our patients come from   42 of Chicago's 77 zip code areas and 34 suburban zip codes.  Their primary reason for becoming a patient is that they are/have suffered from addiction to opioids and have made the decision to receive treatment for their substance use.  We congratulate our patients for making this healthy choice.

"I'm Thankful for," is a Thanksgiving Celebration  luncheon provided to SASI's 500+ patients.   This celebration will provide a full meal to our majority of Medicaid patients - many of whom are homeless or estranged from family during the holidays.

Funds are needed as soon as possible to ensure that Team SASI can purchase the needed goods (food and tableware) and secure the guest speakers prior to the event to be held on November 16, 2018.  We are also seeking corporate or volunteer organizations to help us plan and serve food during the event.

Team SASI represents the many counseling, administrative, board and support staff who are dedicated to increasing healthy opportunities to increase our patient's success.  We hope you will join us through either a donation or group volunteer opportunity on November 16th.
