To my dear family and friends,
As you all know, for the past many years I have participated in the Weekend to End Breast Cancer as well as the Ride to Conquer Cancer, doing my part and raising important funds to support cancer research and treatment. With your generous help WE have contributed to the advances made to fight this terrible disease.
Notwithstanding the importance of continued Cancer research, I have now put my support behind an organization called I Can Dream Theatre . ICDT is a non profit community organization based in Montreal. The primary purpose of ICDT is to provide adults with special needs the opportunity to develop their talents in the performing arts - specifically the areas of acting, singing, dancing and playing musical instruments.
ICDT gives adults with special needs the opportunity to expand and reinforce skills that contribute to their lives. Skills that include independence, responsibility, commitment, perseverance, social skills, self confidence and friendship.
I am proud to help this organization by teaching painting. We have already had three painting sessions, and are planning to have an exhibit in August.
ICDT stands by the motto “If you can dream it, you can live it.”
Your generous donations will help raise funds to buy much needed materials, allowing us to make dreams come true!
