Ishan & Shanaya's New Wheels

Ishan (14) and Shanaya (12) are two busy young people who rely on motorized wheelchairs to get around due to their type II Spinal Muscular Atrophy. As such, they require a modified van to transport them from place to place, and their current ride is nearing retirement. Charitable organizations have pledged $23,000 on the condition that we need to raise the remaining cost (~$50,000) to purchase a new van and make modifications. We are looking for your support in helping us achieve this goal. This van not only helps Ishan and Shanaya live active lifestyles and engage in community activities such as power hockey, choir, church, soccer, and social outings-- it is of vital importance over the winter when school buses get delayed or cancelled as the temperature drops, and imperative for shuttling them to various medical appointments.
