Shave ya fanny for Danny
Donation protected
Danny Golding is an incredible performer who has shared his talents on both stage and screen. You may recognise him as the bendy aerialist from the all male review ‘Boylesque’ as seen on Everybody Dance Now, or you might remember him from So You Think You Can Dance Australia Season two, as the bubbly blonde contemporary dancer from Broken Hill.
Danny recently returned to Sydney to begin rehearsals as a featured aerialist in a cabaret show. Following opening night, he was admitted into the Prince Of Wales hospital after discovering some alarming symptoms.
Danny was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. He has both Follicular Lymphoma and Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma and is being treated as a high intermediate risk. He has already commenced chemotherapy.
It will be in Danny’s best interest that he remains in Sydney to receive intensive chemotherapy from Sydney’s best. He will spend 3-4 days a week at Sydney’s Bright Alliance where he is being looked after by an incredible team of specialists and nurses.
Although Danny’s immediate family is far away, he is surrounded by supportive friends. Obviously as a performer, the consequence of this diagnosis has a direct implication on his livelihood and therefore it is a struggle for him to work and support himself while under-going treatment. While there is some government support available, it is not enough to cover all medical and living expenses, and unfortunately he was not financially prepared for the un-expected next four months of treatment.
Please donate, and SHAVE YOUR FANNY FOR DANNY so that he is able to remain in Sydney and continue his road to recovery.
