Tiffany's surgery

Donation protected
We came home from work today to find Tiffany not able to put any weight on her left front leg. We don't know what happened -- she was fine when we left this morning. We rushed her to her vet, who looked her over and took x-rays. The verdict: Miss Tiffany has a dislocated elbow and fractured ulna. The vet has referred us to a veterinary orthopedic surgeon. She feels that Tiffany will need surgery with rods and pins to reconnect her elbow joint. The rough estimate is $3,500.

I adopted Tiffany six and a half years ago from the county animal shelter. She had been a stray, and they guessed her age to be around 5 or 6 at that time. That makes her 12 now. Tiffany has been my entire world all this time. She sleeps in the bed beside me, greets me at the door when I get home from work, gives the sweetest kisses. I'm 27 years old myself, not making a lot of money, and just started a new job last month. I don't have the kind of money that the orthopedist will want to fix my baby. As I type, she is tucked away in a borrowed x-pen, crying. Please help me raise the money my little (six pounds!) girl needs to stop hurting. Can you pitch in $10 or $20? More? Can you share this page on your social media feeds?

We would really appreciate any help you can give.  -- Tiffany and her mom, Megan
