On behalf of my my business partner Bill Litton and the rest our team at Riverside Mortgage Group, I want to share these thoughts.
Keith Wood is one of the most valued team members in our firm and a very close and special friend of mine, and my entire team. He joined our company 3 years ago, and very quickly we realized what a special guy he was. Keith goes the extra mile for everyone he serves both internally with our staff, and externally with every client and business partner he comes in contact with. He cares so much about the people he takes care of in our business that it has become Keith's trademark with everyone who knows him; he takes great care of everyone.
Right now Keith needs a little help from us to take care of him.
Keith has been feeling ill for a few months now. After multiple visits to the doctor, they finally saw something in a chest x-ray that warranted more serious attention. After a clear chest x-ray 60 days earlier, this time the image showed a 4" tumor in his chest.
On December 11th, he was diagnosed with cancer, and admitted that evening to immediately begin intensive chemotherapy.
Keith is 33 years old, married to his devoted wife Kat, lives in Newark, DE, is an extremely well respected professional in our business, a close friend, and has some serious chops on a drum set.
Keith will not be able to work during his treatment so the costs of treatment and every day living expenses will be a challenge for him.
