So what is Work and Play Lounge?
Work and Play Lounge LLC, is set to be the greater Seattle' area's first for profit coworking space with childcare options in by spring 2018. Coworking is a shared workspace with amenities for independent professionals. Our space will serve as an inspirational platform for all people to share their passions, exchange ideas and collaborate with a network of like-minded people.

What makes us unique?
What makes this model of coworking unique is that it is designed with inclusion, diversity and parents in mind. Our mission is "Creating inclusive community workspaces that inspire people while they work hard to enjoy life!” 

How will my gift have make an IMPACT?
Your gift NOW will help us meet our goal to open by SPRING 2018.  The biggest cost associated with small business ownership in Seattle is securing retail space and having enough funds to do the tenant improvements. This has proven to be the biggest barrier for me to get the business up and running.  You’ll be investing in this rising company, that will be creating history by being one of the only women of color owned coworking spaces, in not only the greater Seattle area, but nationally.

Your contribution will help cover the cost of renovating the commercial space for our first location. The total renovation budget carries a price tag of roughly $150,000.  This amount covers the cost of outdoor signage, flooring, wall coverings, painting, ADA approved bathrooms, ceilings, partitions,  and security just to name a few.

Once funds are secured, what is the project timeline?
Once funds for this project are secure we will sign an official lease agreement, apply for building permits and renovations to the space can start. 

Special recognition for donating
All donors will be recognized on a permanent wall space at the first location at the ribbon cutting event, and if you share your contact information, you will have private access to look at the finished space before the doors open.
