Houston Relief from WV

Fairmont's First Church of the Nazarene and WBOY-TV are partnering to raise funds and phyical donations to send a truckload of supplies to Houston, TX.
ALL MONETARY DONATIONS WILL GO DIRECTLY TO SUPPLIES THAT ARE DESPERATELY NEEDED BY FLOOD VICTIMS IN THE HOUSTON AREA.
NO ONE GETS A PAY DAY FROM YOUR DONATION, WE PROMISE.
What we are asking for:
Funding to purchase necessary recovery supplies in bulk (gloves, masks, bleach, etc.)
With enough funds, we can buy critical supplies in bulk, and AT WHOLESALE COST, which will help your hard-earned dollars stretch further. We have already purchased a pallet of contractor bags, and it went a LOT farther than buying off the shelves at a box store. We'd love to do the same with gloves, masks, and bleach. These things are hard to find when cleanup efforts kick in full gear.
Remember, Fairmont First is a 501(c)3 non-profit, and your donation will be tax deductible. Simply contact our office and supply your GoFundMe receipt to receive an invoice for your end-of-year deductions.
If you don't want to donate money, we'll gladly accept any supplies you'd like to contribute.
When we need these supplies:
Donations are to be gathered by 6pm
on Wednesday, September 6th
at our local drop-off centers (see below)
These supplies will be sorted, packed on pallets, and loaded onto a truck bound for Houston on Thursday. These supplies will be in Houston by the weekend for distribution at Houston's First Church of the Nazarene, which has been converted to a disaster relief distribution center. This church will be distributing these life-sustaining supplies throughout the Houston area to anyone who needs them.
Volunteers will be needed to help sort donations on Wednesday evening and Thursday after 2pm at the church. Please come on down and help!
Supplies we are accepting at our drop-off points include:
>New Packages of Undergarments and T-Shirts for all ages and all sizes
>Disposable Cameras for Insurance Claims
>Contractor Trash Bags & Cleaning Supplies: Specifically Gallons of Bleach, Disposable Gloves, dust masks
>Sunscreen, Bug Spray, HandSoap & Dawn Soap
>Personal Hygiene Kits/ Feminine Products / First Aid Kits
>Diapers & New Kids Packages of Clothing and Undergarments (onesies, new bottles, etc.)
>Pet Supplies and Pet Food (Bags of unopened pet food, crates, gently used blankets/towels, leashes, bowls, animal first aid supplies)
>Dry Goods (Please no expired food-check the dates); Water purification supplies & Empty Reusable Water Containers (collapsible water jugs are perfect!)
>New Towels, Blankets, Sealed New Pillows and New packages of Linens
