Hurricane Maria Relief for Añasco
Donation protected
Earlier this month Hurricane Maria wreaked havoc in the Carribean, much of it centerd on the U.S. Territory of Puerto Rico. This is a humanitarian crisis and the 3.4 million people of Puerto Rico are struggling to receive even the most basic relief.
We are feeling the direct impact of this crisis as our 1836 Green St. Manager Lily is a native Puerto Rican, with all her family aside from parents still living in Añasco, a small town in Western Puerto Rico. The following pictures show the current state of Añasco. It is truly devasting and we are feeling a strong responsibility to play a role in rebuilding this community.
We are kicking off this fundraiser on Friday, September 29th, which happens to be international coffee day. We will be donating a percentage of tomorrow's sales directly to our family and the people of Añasco and will have jar out during our Night of 1,000 Pours latte art throwdown.
Please consider helping us help our human family in dire need.
Thanks and love,
Little Amps Coffee Roasters.
