As you know by now Hurricane Maria reached Puerto Rico as a powerful Category 4 with winds of 155mph and catastrophic damage. I am getting donations to cover our humanitarian support to Puerto Rico. The island had not seen a Category 4 storm since 1932.
My name is Jose R. Miranda Ramos, I am the CEO of Forex Mandamus Services Inc. and I'm launching this campaign to support the Humanitarian Effort on the island.
Forex Mandamus Services Inc . A Veteran Owned Business in New York City will match every donation given in this campaign and their staff with other volunteers will travel to Puerto Rico to provide humanitarian support to the local communities.
The funds will be used to provide the following items to the victim in Puerto Rico
1. Water
2. First aid Items
3. Can Food
4. Batteries
5. Baby Food
6. Diapers
7. Logistical Support
8. and other humanitarian assistance
The storm made landfall at Yabucoa in Puerto Rico’s southeast shortly after 6 a.m. Wednesday, as a Category 4 storm with winds as strong as 155 miles per hour.
Maria has reportedly left the entire island without electricity, according to a spokesman from the governor’s office. When the category 4 hurricane hit Puerto Rico Wednesday morning, there were winds up to 155 mph and 12 to 18 inches of rain are expected to pour on the island.
Local media is reporting that the Fajardo, Espíritu Santo and Rio Grande de Loiza rivers have all broken their banks, increasing the risk of flooding to some of the more highly populated areas of Puerto Rico.
A tsunami warning was in place along the coast of Ponce, a city on the southern coast.
This comes less than two weeks after Category 5 Hurricane Irma struck Puerto Rico.
