Hunter Larrabee Memorial fund

Hunter Deams Larrabee was a terrific and wonderful child. Since the day he was born March 26th 2007 he was so full of happiness and love. He was polite, kind, funny, and a joy to be around. Hunter loved playing football and baseball. He enjoyed fishing, camping, Kayaking, and anything that he could do outdoors. In his spare time he loved to build with his legos, play with his trains, play games on his IPad, and watch movies. He spent a lot of time with his family and friends, and he meant so much to those who loved him. He was sweet to animals and his dream was to someday have a farm of his own.
On July 12th, 2017 Hunter was in an ATV accident and passed away. He was only 10 years old. His family will be holding a memorial service for him in late August. This service will honor Hunter’s memory and will be a gathering for those looking for closure and comfort.
In an effort to defray the cost of this memorial we are asking for donations on behalf of his mother, Michelle Welsh- Larrabee.
After the expense of the memorial, any excess funds collected from this drive will then be donated to LOPA on behalf of Hunter. LOPA is the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency (Their web site is LOPA.ORG)
Hunters mother Michelle, and father Deams Larrabee, had chosen to donate Hunters organs through LOPA so that other children could be saved. They felt that Hunter would have chosen to do this as well, since he was such a loving a caring child. Hunter was able to donate both of his kidneys and liver to specific individuals, and he was able to donate his lungs and pancreas for research so that many more lives could be saved.
Michelle and her family would like to recognize Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home , who has reduced the cost of Hunters cremation expenses to a minimum by absorbing some of the cost.
