Hunter Blair Funeral and Memorial

It is with immense sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Hunter Blair. On November 24, 2019 at 11:11pm, a time that was very significant to her, Hunter took flight with the angels surrounded by family and photos of friends. Hunter was just 13 and made a huge impact on the many people in her life during her short time with us. She, like many girls her age, was an animal lover, loved rap music, scary movies, hanging out at the mall and spending time with friends. Her wit, sass and sense of humour made her a joy to be around and Hunter was a fiercely loyal, friend with such a big heart. She became family to many of her friends, her friends taken in like family by hers. Hunter Blair, beloved daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin, friend will be missed and forever loved by so many.

As you can imagine, we are all struggling with grief and coming to terms with this great loss, a loss made all the more difficult because Hunter attempted to take her own life. Social media today plays a huge role in how our children are growing up, as parents we need to be vigilant, we need to communicate with our children.

Losing a child is especially devastating and the outpouring of love and condolences from the community has been so heartwarming. Many have asked if there is a fund set up to help Hunter’s family as they navigate this road. It is with the family’s blessing that we have set up this gofundme to help with expenses that come with such a tragic event. Funeral costs and associated expenses with an extended time off to grieve really add up and we want to ease any financial burden so that the family can be together and grieve without worrying about money.

Every donation, every thoughtful word, page share and prayer are greatly appreciated.

Due to the sensitive nature of this campaign, comments will be monitored/moderated.

All funds will be made available to Hunter's family immediately and financial decisions left up to them.

Thank you for your support of Hunter’s family during this difficult time.
