Funeral Expenses for Michael Lavin

Michael Jarboe Lavin, 63, of Silver Spring passed away on April 23rd in Silver Spring. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Brookville Academy at 5 High Street Brookeville, MD on May 20th at 1:00pm.Michael was born in Washington, DC to Richard and Mary Lavin on January 1, 1955. He went to high school at Good Counsel and graduated in 1973. He attended the University of Maryland in College Park. He worked as a Landscape Designer for Good Earth In Potomac for many years. Michael donated his time and landscape design talent at local public and private schools. He was an avid outdoorsman, a voracious reader and a true gentleman farmer. Michael is preceded in death by his father Richard Burke Lavin, mother Mary Jarboe Lavin, sister Anne Lawrence and nephew Richard Lee Lawrence Jr. He is survived by his husband Joseph Peters, nieces Samantha Lawrence, Carly and Kelsey Peters, countless cousins and friends and his beloved Cocker Spaniel Stella.Please donate, as you are able, to help defray the funerary costs.
