Help me save my mom

Hello family and friends,
I am sure that you see these a lot on social media along with situations that money at times cannot necessarily better the issue. I am not one to beg from others for the need or support of my family. But, during this time, my mother is currently in a tough situation with cancer. She had recently been in and out of the hospital for chemo because earlier this year they had diagnosed her with cervical cancer. After diagnosis, they were able to remove the cancer and she was cleared from the cancer. Just yesterday, she was admitted back into the hospital and they have diagnosed her with cancer once again. But this time, it has gotten worse and has spread to other parts in her body. She is currently located in Puerto Rico and as you know, PR is not the best place at the moment to be financially. Along with her being in Puerto Rico, it is a very tough situation with bringing her to the U.S. because she has a 17 year old son who is on a scholarship for school. If he leaves from there, he will lose his scholarship and she doesn't want that to happen to him because he worked so hard to be where he is at the moment. In addition, she has been in the hospital running tests to see how they can help her situation. Turns out, she has to have 4 shots of chemotherapy to help her with her survival journey. Unfortunately, the medicine costs $4000 per shot. Her health insurance does not cover the treatment she needs. My family and I are trying our best to gather anything just to help my mom. It breaks my heart that we do not have the money to help her so I am asking for your sympathy. Anything that is donated will go straight to her medical costs. I cannot imagine living in this world without the woman who brought me here. Her grandkids are in distraught and we need her to stay with us as long as she can. Cancer should not be the reason my mother is taken away from me. So, if you will please donate and share this post. Every cent and share counts. Thank you in advanced, my heart is in utter despair.

Estoy seguro de que los ves mucho en las redes sociales junto con situaciones en las que el dinero a veces no necesariamente puede mejorar el problema. No soy alguien que suplica a los demás por la necesidad o el apoyo de mi familia. Pero, durante este tiempo, mi madre se encuentra actualmente en una situación difícil con cáncer. Recientemente había entrado y salido del hospital por quimioterapia porque a principios de este año le habían diagnosticado cáncer cervical. Después del diagnóstico, pudieron extirpar el cáncer y ella fue eliminada del cáncer. Ayer, fue ingresada nuevamente en el hospital y le han diagnosticado cáncer una vez más. Pero esta vez, ha empeorado y se ha extendido a otras partes de su cuerpo. Actualmente se encuentra en Puerto Rico y, como saben, PR no es el mejor lugar en este momento para estar económicamente. Además de estar en Puerto Rico, es una situación muy difícil traerla a los EE. UU. Porque tiene un hijo de 17 años que tiene una beca para la escuela. Si se va de allí, perderá su beca y ella no quiere que eso le pase a él porque trabajó muy duro para estar donde está en este momento. Además, ella ha estado en el hospital realizando pruebas para ver cómo pueden ayudarla en su situación. Resulta que tiene que recibir 4 inyecciones de quimioterapia para ayudarla con su viaje de supervivencia. Desafortunadamente, la medicina cuesta $ 4000 por inyección. Su seguro de salud no cubre el tratamiento que necesita. Mi familia y yo estamos haciendo todo lo posible para reunir cualquier cosa solo para ayudar a mi madre. Me rompe el corazón que no tengamos el dinero para ayudarla, así que le pido su simpatía. Todo lo que sea donado irá directamente a sus gastos médicos. No puedo imaginar vivir en este mundo sin la mujer que me trajo aquí. Sus nietos están angustiados y necesitamos que se quede con nosotros todo el tiempo que pueda.
