Tina Andersen is an amazing selfless, mother of 5 children and they are her entire world. On July 9, 2014  Tina took her baby boy Remington to the emergency room. He had lost all movement on the right side of his body. He had suffered from a brain bleed and was flown to Children's Hospital in Little Rock.
On July 31, 2014 they were told it was a brain tumor. They did another MRI in August and the tumor had grown. On September 24, 2014 Remington had the first of many surgeries to remove the tumor. A biopsy was done and sent to John Hopkins. On October 8th the biopsy came back  as a high grade stage 3-4 Anaplastic Astocytoma, usually found only in adults.
On Novenber 6th Tina and Remington were moved from Childrens in LR to St. Jude and he started chemotherapy on November 12th.  Tina and Remington stayed at St. Jude's (Memphis)  for 7 months. He endured  4 different types of chemo and started oral chemo at home. Recently during a routine MRI we received news that we was devausting. The tumor was BACK!!

Remi has had a total of 6 surgeries and recently endured another brain surgery to remove this new growth.
His journey isn't finished. He will go back to St Jude's Oct 5,  2015 to start radiation.
July 2016- TUMOR is back again!  Another surgery for this little man (making it 7 now) and a different chemo oral drug he will be on for the next two years!! Monthly scans to make sure the tumor isn't growing again.  The scans will become less and less as long as they are clear.
So far the travel back and forth has been a lot and Tina is obviously not able to work due to the intense care/ therapy  he needs.  Currently he's almost 3 years old. We're hoping to raise some funds to help ease a little stress off . Any amount is greatly appreciated. Even if you are unable to give, you could help by sharing this page and praying for this family.

Remington is 3 now!  And the tumor is back and has taken over most of his left side of the brain, moving into his spine, and to the right side of his brain. This news was horrible but we aren't done fighting yet!! He's leaving for GA this month for a new trial with chemo in hopes that his immune system will detect the foreign object and fight it off.
