Make A Dream Come True

"If story telling is an art form, then Andrew Wolf is DaVinci" - divaradiolive.com When I heard those words come across a radio station, I was stunned. That was hands down the greatest compliment I have ever received. My name is Andrew Wolf, with Cry Wolf Entertainment. Ever since I was a little lad, writing and story telling have always been my passion. But I won't bore you with the details of my childhood. What I will discuss, however, is not just a story. It's an actual opportunity. I'm creating a film titled "The Virgo". Before I talk about the premise, let's back it up real quick. Everyone knows how hard breaking into film is. What most don't understand is just how hard it really is. Think about it. In Hollywood, you have to either know someone who knows someone who knows someone, or you have to be insanely lucky. I broke down the statistics. In New York City alone, there are over a million actors. Less than 1% (!!!) are employed. That's INSANE. After a hiatus from my passion, I recently got back into it. I have met so many wonderfully talented people who have never had a chance to show what they can do. I just casted a girl in a project. She applied to a role on backstage.com, and lives in West Virginia. I decided to give her a shot to submit a self tape, and let me tell you, I'm glad I did. Her performance blew me away, and I knew I had to cast her. And that's my point. Due to her living in West Virginia, her opportunities are severely limited. And now, she'll be able to add IMDb credit to her resume. Which made me think....how many people are in this exact same position? Have you ever had a local band or artist, who was so good, yet went unnoticed because of something similar? I'm trying to change that. My long term goal is to give talented individuals an opportunity. It may not be a career-defining one, but it will at least be a stepping stone. Help me do that. Once the world will see this finished film, we will build a community of people helping people. The premise for my film is simple: The film details how the life choices of a conman have lead up to this current moment. Simple, right? What will make this film unique is the story, and the character development. Two things I feel are so vital to a production of any type. Think short films don't matter? Think again. Everyone knows the franchise SAW. Love it or hate it, everyone has heard of it. Did you know SAW was able to get the greenlight after the creators made it as a short film first? I'm looking to raise $2,500 for this film. Funds will be distributed as follows: Meals (I can't starve my cast/crew. I kinda like them) Meals will be from local businesses, who will receive credit in the film.  Any last second, on-set materials needed (It's inevitable. No avoiding it) Marketing the finished product (website promotions, festival submission fees) Film premiere cost at a private theatre Exposure of this film will literally be no problem. Through the marketing geeks on my team, to the streaming services that are ALREADY interested in working with us, the possibilities are literally endless. We just need a product for said exposure. Anyone who's willing to donate to this cause, I will reach out to you; we can discuss how I can make it worth your while. This cause will help so many people. Filmmakers, local businesses, everything. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope you find what you're looking for. Andrew Wolf
