HOUSTON SWIM CLUB SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Houston and surrounding communities were inundated with over 50 inches of rain during Hurricane Harvey's rampage a few weeks ago. We are slowly but surely returning to our "new normal" with schools re-opening and homes and businesses being cleaned, repaired, or completely tearing down to begin rebuilding.

We get requests daily for help from our clients and even some staff who were affected by Harvey's aftermath. Some requests are for temporary scholarships for lesson tuition, some are for swim suits and towels from evacuees who will be out of their homes for a while, some are simply for emotional support from parents who need to vent their frustrations! We have already begun the process of giving away many lessons to families who will likely be displaced, some likely for months, while their homes are being repaired or rebuilt.

We at HSC are truly touched by the outpouring of love and support from our swim school friends across the country! Many of you have asked how you can help. We have decided to open a Go Fund Me account where you all can donate funds that will be used to help provide lesson scholarships to our many families who are requesting assistance.
