Housing a homeless family of six

Donation protected
A family of six (including very young children and a toddler) living on the outskirts of Abuja, Nigeria recently lost their home during a rain storm, as the roof was completely blown off due to weakened supporting planks.
As they only run a small Christian charity in a small community, they can not afford the amount of money needed to fix the roof of their home. Their relatives all live in the southern part of Nigeria, so they have nowhere to live right now, but to temporarily put up in one of the classrooms in a nearby primary school, which will be needed by the school once the children resume classes on September 3rd, 2018; hence, they are basically on the streets.....

Please, could you help this family by donating any amount, to help put a roof back on their heads, as they have very young children, including toddlers?

Thanks so much for your generosity. God bless you and yours.

UPDATE AS OF 26 August 2018

Thank you so much, everyone, who has very kindly and generously donated to this worthy cause.
You have helped to reach and exceed the target of £1,385 of £1,200 (for re-roofing the building). Thank you so much again, everyone.

The family are close relatives of mine but unfortunately could not afford to raise the needed funds as its very urgent, since they have had to put up in a very cold, partly open classroom, which has been very cold, due to the daily rainfall for some weeks now (no heating and poorly insulated classroom). The young children have been very poorly, coughing and being really unwell, due to the incessant cold.

To make matters worse, the building, unfortunately, collapsed on Friday the 25th of August, due to incessant and heavy rainfall and due to a structural flaw in the building  (photos of the collapsed building have been uploaded since then). This means the family now need to raise more funds to build almost from scratch. Builders have assessed the building and it’s estimated they are going to need close to £6,000 to build.

I know £6000 is a long shot but every little penny towards the building so the family can have a roof over their heads will surely help, as they only run a small charity in the village, helping to empower the villagers, hence, the family is not financially buoyant.

The family is unable to withdraw the money directly from GoFundMe, so I will be withdrawing the money, to be paid directly to the building contractor the family have employed to do the work. I will forward the funds as soon as it's paid into my account without delay.

Thank you all so much. God bless you richly.

Kind Regards

Monisola Adio.
