Hello, Everyone,
My name is Elsie Limage and I have started this gofundme for my youngest sibling Sabine Baptiste.
Here is some history of Sabine. She has been battling drug and alcohol addiction for 15 years now and also has bipolar disorder.
In the last 24 hours, I have been at the Hospital with Sabine who was taken there by ambulance. Her behavior had become very aggressive at times yet when she did see me, she calmed down.
I believe Sabine is crying out for help. I believe that she is finally ready to take the important steps toward absolute rehabilitation, which is my ultimate goal.
This goal requires her to be in a remote area for her care. There are several places that offer this type of long term care.
Please note Sabine has been in rehab programs all over New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and some places I don’t remember during her 15 years of being an addict, she does not only have a addiction problem she also suffers from bipolar disorder. I remember the first rehab she was in and the doctor had told us not to bring her back to the city, we didn’t yet (it wasn’t far enough away) and she found herself, back to the source of her drugs.
So for a addict that had this type of history, they truly need long term rehabilitation, 2 - 3 years. In a privately owned institution, because the state owned institution do not offer this type of long term programs. So I am hoping that we can raise the funds to send her for the time duration that she needs.
What we plan on doing with the money:
1. Pay for the institution she will be staying at.
2. Transportation to the place.
3. Plane tickets.
4. Transportation to facility, from airport.
5. Clothes, shoes, sneakers and etc.
6. Money for medication, she is bipolar.
7. Some places you must pay for meal programs.
8. After she completes the program, money so she can restart her life.
There is an urgency in me that I cannot ignore... this is the saving of Sabine's life.
So please help us help her.
