Hope for Hugh

For those of us who love Mr. Hugh, we know what an inspiration he is--the very definition of love lived out in this world.

He is currently in the fight for his life against the ravages of metastatic melanoma.  The deadly cancer has spread to his lymph nodes and lungs.  He has been receiving chemo and immunotherapy during the past year, but the tumors have not shrunk or shown signs of dissipating.

Hugh is facing a long, hard road, and we all want to rally behind him in support...

Let's donate generously to:

1. relieve him of the immense financial strain that comes with limited insurance coverage and cancer treatment

2. give him time with his family, who are currently financially unable to take time off to take care of him

Any money contributed goes directly to Hugh.  We are simply a group of friends who want to help, and this is the best way we know how.

Please be considerate of Hugh and Allison's privacy at this time.  And please do not post this on social media.  Forward it instead to some friends who would want to help.

They are, of course, doing everything they can to get through each day and we ask that all of Hugh's friends respect their privacy.  Emails, phone calls and texts are such beautiful gestures of support, but handwritten letters are more likely impactful at  this time.  They simply won’t be able to answer questions and aren’t ready for visitors at this time.  You can send letters to LJES and Hugh will receive them.
