Hi friends and family!
In June this year I will be travelling to Gulu, a small village in Uganda's north to work for a small charity called Hope Center Uganda (HCU) that aims at supporting the regions youth by educating them in literacy, arts and technology and supporting them within the community.
As a future teacher I feel very strongly about this organisation and the work they do of educating the children of Uganda, helping to ensure that these kids receive the quality of life that they deserve.
I am attempting to raise funds so that I am able to assist in providing essential funds that this organisation relies on in order to keep doing the amazing work that it does. As well as this, while there I would love to design and implement a curriculum for a topic I feel worthwhile and beneficial for the community, which similarly requires funding.
I would appreciate any support at all for this great cause and I look forward to sharing photos and stories from my journey and the positive impacts that these donations will have.
