Midwest Sports Academy (MSA) was started in 2012 by founder and CEO Jim Cook. Mr. Cook saw the opportunity close to home to serve underprivileged youth focusing on children in Bartlett, Elgin, South Elgin, Streamwood, Carpentersville, Aurora and Gilberts. MSA's mission is to encourage citizenship, personal discipline, honesty and work ethic by hosting mentorship programs, educational field trips and fundraising for Ronald McDonald House, providing Thanksgiving dinners for over 100 families, adopting families at Christmas to provide them with gifts and clothing when times are financially rough for them. Our main fundraiser, HOOP FOR PEACE held on June 24th, 2017, is what MSA depends on to fund all the programs it provides throughout the year, see event information on above photo/event flyer. We are looking for additional sponsors and donations to supplement the funds that we bring in from the event.
