Honoring the Wentz-Schroeder family

On Monday, February 25th a house fire raged through the family home of Brian Wentz, Amy Wentz, Andreah Schroeder, and Lily Wentz. Amy, Andreah, and Lily all lost their lives. Brian was recovered outside of a window, and was taken to the hospital where he remains in a coma in critical condition.

Unfortunately, we do not believe that the home was insured, and the family lost absolutely everything. Fortunately, the wonderful people at Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home have already donated a fair amount of the travel and labor involved in the cremation, and are only charging a total of $3000 for the basic cremation services.

Any monies past that $3000 will go towards a memorial and will help pay for medical expenses and travel costs for Brian and his family.

The family would like  to sincerely thank the people of Muscatine for the outpouring of love and support that they have received after such a tragic loss.
