Honoring the Memory of Larry Urena

In February 2019 we suddenly lost an amazing man, a dedicated husband, a fantastic father and our dear friend Larry Urena. Larry will be missed by many, many people.
Larry had a fantastic sense of humor, an incredible work ethic and a true love for life. He was forever upbeat, kind, thoughtful, generous and loyal. He was father to two amazing children, Samantha, his 26 year old daughter and his son Jack, now 15. Larry made sure that his daughter Samantha completed her college education and he enjoyed watching her graduate from UCSB.
Larry was also dedicated to the dream of seeing his son Jack enjoy the college experience and follow in his footsteps.
However, Larry won't be here now to see Jack through to complete that journey.
The family has requested, in lieu of flowers, that a contribution to Jack's 529 Plan for his college education is the perfect way to honor Larry.
This GoFundMe campaign was started by Larry's UCLA fraternity brothers who enjoyed his great sense of humor and loved him dearly. Every penny contributed here will go directly to Jack's 529 Plan which was set up to honor a special man - Lawrence Michael Urena.
Thank you for thinking of Maria, Jack and Samantha as we all work together to help complete Larry's dream that Jack attend college.
