Honoring Parker Knudsen

As many of you now know, my wife Kelsey and I recently lost our son Parker with only 2 months left in pregnancy.
All of his appointments went wonderfully, and we kept receiving healthy reports during each visit. But after going in for an ordinary check-up on July 8th (the beginning of Kelsey's 3rd Trimester), we were told the shocking and devastating news that our baby's heart was no longer beating and that he had passed away sometime recently. There weren't any warning signs that something was wrong prior to this doctor visit.
And to make things even more difficult, we learned that my wife had to be back at the hospital within 24 hours to prepare to deliver our deceased baby. That reality hit us hard. This was already the saddest moment of our lives, but it was about to be the most traumatizing moment, too. We dreamed of the day Kelsey would be in labor ready to deliver our child, but not this way. Not like this.
Kelsey amazingly got through the toughest moment of her life and delivered the baby with her mom and I by her side. But there was no crying newborn to hold. Instead, just crying parents.
This is not considered a miscarriage, but instead it is known as a "stillborn". We got to see Parker's 3D image 3 weeks prior. He had his dad's nose. The baby looked like a baby.
We arrived at the hospital Tuesday evening and were finally discharged Friday morning. We were fortunate to be visited by my parents and Kelsey's mom. We received many warm messages, calls, and texts from you all.
Instead of planning Parker's baby shower, we now have to plan his memorial. We are asking for support to help us raise money to cover costs for cremation services and a special urn to keep with us forever. We are beyond crushed right now, but we want to always honor and remember Parker, our son.
We plan to receive the ashes and urn next week, so if there's anything you can do to contribute, we will be extremely grateful for the support. Thank you all for taking the time to read this.
