Operation Our Town started the “Honor the Badge” campaign to recognize Blair County Law Enforcement for serving our community. The campaign included billboards and window clings displaying the message, “Honor the Badge, We Support Blair County Law Enforcement.”
To show our gratitude to all Blair County law enforcement that risk their lives every day, we are raising funds to be able to expand the Honor the Badge campaign to include more promotional outreach items that the community can use to show their support, and are asking the community to help by making a donation between June 18 and August 17, 2018!
Operation Our Town has partnered with Froggy 98 to help bridge the gap between our community and local law enforcement and are doing some on-air activities to help raise money for Honor the Badge, including interviewing an officer on-air every Friday morning from June 18th-August 17th!
Operation Our Town is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization formed to facilitate partnerships between community and business to fight drug abuse and crime through proven law enforcement, treatment, and prevention techniques. Operation Our Town is managing the Honor the Badge campaign and will accept donations from businesses, organizations and individuals. Please include your mailing address with your donation so that we can send you an Honor the Badge window cling to show your support!
