Last year, for my 19th birthday, a group of very generous friends and I made packaged meals for the homeless in Seattle. It was my favorite memory of last year for two reasons:
1. There were so many smiles going around that day.
2. I learned something critical: it really doesn't take much to do some good.

For my 20th, I wanted to hopefully create a bigger impact and reach more people. After trying to figure out the best way to organize this I decided to create a GoFundMe page for this event. If I buy everything in bulk at Costco, a meal (consisting of bottled water, sandwich, various snacks, fruit, pair of socks, feminine products for the ladies) will cost around $6 a pack. This means if everyone donates, we have the ability to create over 100 meals! I don't want to put any minimum or maximum amount of funds you can donate but this is what my goals are for this year! Please note that no matter what you donate, you are making a difference.

I thought this would be a nice way to spend time with folks who mean a lot to me while also doing something worthwhile. Please come on July 8th, I'd love to see you!
