Honduras Medical Mission

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!"
-Isaiah 6:8-
My name is Nicki Weber and I am a sophomore Music Education and Psychology double major at Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky. I am a member of the Black Gospel Ensemble and a member of the Ministry team at the Methodist Student Center on campus along with many other organizations on campus.
After months of searching and praying, the Lord has blessed me with a wonderful service opportunity in Ciudad España, Honduras. This is a medical mission that will bring medical, vision, and dental services to a city that is without.
Ciudad España is a community of approximatly 12,000 people located 30 km northwest of the capital, Tegucigalpa, in the Francisco Morazan region of Honduras. Because there is no sustainable income in the city, with the closest sources of income being 40 km away with transportation costing 3/4 of the daily income, citizens are not able to pay for public services which lead to dangerous health issues for the community. This mission will help provide some of those health care needs.
Thank you so much for taking time to consider to donate to this mission project. Anything and everything helps. Prayers are always appreciated.
Blessings,
Nicki Weber
