Holiday Magic for the Homeless

This Holiday season, I find myself working at a homeless shelter. Our shelter provides counseling support, food assistance, clothing, program finding assistance, quite a few other programs, and we have 9 beds for emergency use. As we just passed Thanksgiving, and are well on our way to more family themed holidays, I am sitting here thinking about most of these young adults using our emergency beds will not have family to go to for the holidays nor will they get many if not any presents.

So I want to do something for them. I work the overnight shift here and I want to, in the middle of the night create a little holiday magic. Hopefully including decorations, a stocking for each of them, candy and small gifts for them all as well.

All the donations will go to gifts, decorations, cookies/milk, treats, candy, stockings, possibly a larger gift if donations get a nice turnout!
