 LOS ANGELES, CA
Our dear friend Siobhan Allgood left Philly a couple months ago and headed West to Los Angeles. She is a master chef, famous for competing on the popular show Hell's Kitchen.  She's also a talented clothing designer and went to work immediately after arriving in LA making accessories for a friends company.  Unfortunately that friendship deteriorated and she lost both her housing and job without any notice.

Siobhan urgently needs our help!  She used all of her savings to move and cannot afford to pay first, last and security to get a lease elsewhere.  She's been forced into homelessness and is staying in a tent city out there with her dog and cats. Just today she was attacked and almost raped but luckily got away and filed a police report...  I worry so much about whether she is safe bc she's a kind and giving soul! Anything you can donate would be much appreciated and go directly to get her housing!

Siobhan has been getting the donations as they come in because we set up the campaign with an automatic transfer into her bank account. Thanks so much to everyone who has donated to her during these difficult times! It really means they world to her and has kept her going and motivated during all this! She still unfortunately isn't in a great situation out there. All the cash we've sent to her has been used on hotels, a storage unit and paying her outstanding U-Haul bill from moving truck being long overdue. (I told her that U-Haul could have waited given the situation but she was trying to be responsible.) Even the cheapest hotels are $75-$100 a night, or more in LA. She's been homeless now for over a month so you can see how quickly $1,000 would go! To make matters worse it's apparently been hotter than hell out there lately! This past week she was taken to the hospital and treated for dehydration and exhaustion! Her dog, Kuma, was unfortunately left unattended and taken to a local shelter while she was being treated at the hospital. At the same time, someone also stole all of her belongings, including her ID and birth certificate! Why the paramedics didn't bring them, and Kuma, along when picking her up is beyond me. Her bad situation seems to keep getting worse! I wish there was more I personally could do but I don't have any money saved up to speak of and work pay-check to pay-check and don't have much left after paying my bills. If anyone is in a position to help out; it would be much appreciated. I'm hoping I can talk her into spending the cash to pick up Kuma from the shelter and buy a plane ticket back to Philly, or at-least to go somewhere that she has good friends to help her out. If anyone has frequent flyer miles they can use to get her a ticket, that would also be great! I just used my Verizon rewards points to order about a week's worth of hotel gift certificates that I am sending to her so she can lay her head somewhere safe until we have come up with enough cash for a long-term solution. Things like that don't cost any money and are really helpful too! Thanks for caring and supporting our mutual friend! She'd do the same for any of us in a similar situation! Enjoy the rest of your weekend! <3

Siobhan Marie Allgood just needs to gather another $800 in order to secure housing! The place is waiving part of the security deposit to help and is a steal for Los Angeles! Any help people can offer to get her there would be great! Thanks you in advance! <3

We need to get this lovely woman and her beautiful pets into a safe home now. Being on the street is unsafe for anyone; especially a beautiful and kind girl. She was assaulted this weekend by someone trying to rape her. Thank god she's tough because she fought them off and got away to file a police report! I worry what could happen if she doesn't get safe shelter soon. Anything you can donate to her housing fund will help and go right into her bank account!

Does anyone know what has become of Siobhan? She seems to have fallen off the planet. I hope she is okay. Her Facebook hasn't been used in over a year.
