Homeless Lives Matter Too!

So many people are being preyed upon and losing their lives to circumstances that are beyond their control, especially the homeless. Homelessness should rank near the top of list when it comes to “Matter Campaigns”, however there are not enough people in the world today who truly believe that Homelessness really does matter. “Even unto this present hour” more than 564,708 people across the United States “hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwelling place (1Corinthians 4:11)”. Does it MATTER to you? It DOES to us!
For the past five years it has been one of Healing Stream Ministries’ top priorities to care for the homeless. As in previous years we are asking you to join us by opening your arms to the poor and extending your hands to the needy (Proverbs 31:20) during our 5th Annual Healing the Homeless Drive. This year’s drive kicks off on September 25, 2016.
In our efforts to care for the homeless, we show them love by providing them with duffel bags filled with essentials to help them bare this unfortunate condition. The Duffel bags cost the ministry about $40.00 each and the goal this year is to serve 250 homeless people in the land. So please open your hand as well as your heart and donate what you can by November 24, 2016. You can mail donations to 5747 Lakeview Circle, Lithonia, GA , or bring your donation directly to the church on any given Sunday between 12:00PM and 2:30PM.
