Homeless Disabled Family

I am Jamie Murray and I am a single and disabled mother to a special needs 14 yr old son.  My son and I have had a really difficult and emotionally turmoil year.  A year ago, my ex convinced me to move us to live with his mother.  Over the last year, we suffered a great deal abuse at the hands of my ex, his mother, and his brother.   My son and I finally escaped from the abuse in May.  We suffered from emotional, verbal, some physical, and financial abuse.  My brother drove all the way to my house and local friends helped to get us out, after I managed to send my son to stay with my parents in Idaho, to protect my son from the abuse.

Since this time, we have been living in tents all summer long in my parent's backyard.  Working hard to recover, not only emotionally from the abuse, but also financially.   We are desperately needing to get permanent housing as soon as possible.  Where we live in Idaho, it starts to get cold by September.  It has already been getting chilly at night.  Because of the hot sun and dusty winds, it has wrecked havock on the condition of our tents.  The zippers are failing, the material on the tent is falling apart, and even the seams are coming apart in several places.   The zipper on the large tent hasn't been able to be zipped shut for a couple months.  Because of this, bugs get into the tent.  We both deal with bug and mosquito bites all over our bodies.  We desperately need to get into housing this month.

We are also sharing this situation with my service dog, service dog in training, and 3 emotional support cats.  All are doctor prescribed and medically necessary.  The cats are living in an XL dog crate in an attempt to keep them safe.  We are unable to keep my son's cat in the crate, so she has been running loose.
To make matters worse, my van, our only source of transportation has quit running.  Where we currently are staying, there is no public transportation.  Due to my disabilities, I am unable to walk to get places like for groceries and to go to doctor's appointments.  Even if we manage to get a place with public transportation, I am unable to use the system to go where I need  to go   We need to get it running again.  After some friends and family have attempted to help with our van, the issues are beyond their abilities.  I contacted a local auto shop that's able to have diagnostic testing done for our van.  I will give updates on the costs, as the soonest opening they had was September 5th.  We suspect it is at least a battery issue, but also possibly a computer and/or a relay/fuse issue.

We have a few places we are looking at currently, but one that'll work perfect for us.  It is $795 per month and $975 deposit.  Not to mention the cost of moving, electricity, and possible other unforeseen costs associated with moving.  We appreciate any and all help.
