HOME INVASION :NEED-Emergent Move to new property

Donation protected
***Update*** We got our Pippa back today. It's difficult to put in to words the tender and bitter sweet comfort it is to be able to have her back with us. Our need is greater then originally anticipated as we may have to pay 2 leases. One for the old house & one for a new house, until an agreement can be made. Please pray that we'll be able to find comfort in a new home as soon as possible. Last, but by no means least, Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your love, support, prayers, shares, & generosity will allow each of us to heal by learning to find comfort in a new home and by helping us obtain future/continued therapy. Again, thank you. Each & every one of you, for your shares and generosity. I am & forever will be eternally grateful. *****ORIGINAL POST ***** Tuesday, June 18th, just before midnight, Someone broke into our home. The intruder kicked in the back door, and then our bedroom.  The gunman immediately shot my Labrador Pippa 4-5 times & killed her. He was yelling at us to give him "the money & goods." My son, Noah, is 11. Thankfully he didn't see anything, but heard it all and hid under his bed until after the police arrived. My husband had cash in his car and the gunman followed him. Allowing me to call 911.  I hid my phone in case he came back inside and locked my son's bedroom door.  I kneeled next to my sweet girl, Pippa, and provided her with what small comfort I could while I spoke to the 911 operator & waited for my husband to come back inside & for the police to arrive. Once the Police came, they cleared the property, collected shell casings and other evidence, & took our statements. We are currently staying at my Father's house & we were told a Detective would be calling us this week. The officer's carried our Pippa out to our back patio and a friend has been kind enough to cremate her remains for us & my husband and I cleaned up her blood & feces and packed up as many of our belongings as we could.  We're only 2 months into our lease, & eventhough the police officer stated that this incident was not common for our neighborhood, we no longer feel safe in our home.  I don't believe that my family, especiallsavy my son will be able to heal & feel safe in this house.  We are also expecting my 2nd child, a little girl, in November.  I am not one to ask for handouts, especially from those I don't know, but My husband and I are desperate to move our family as soon as possible. I don't have enough savings to move us and what we had we used to move into our current house. If you can support us financially in any way, our funds will go toward the move, necessary bills (utilities, etc.) from missed wages /time off work, & obtaining trauma therapy for my family. Sharing our need through your social media will also be greatly appreciated.  I sincerely thank each of you for taking the time to read this. May the Lord bless you all. Thank you and please send a prayer up for my family & our sweet Pippa.
