Home for Diego & Mae

We have 30 days to find a way to avoid homelessness. Our landlord caught us off guard and told us today, January 21, that he can no longer afford the house we’re living in and gave us 30 days to find a new living situation. We’ve just been given multiple instances of bad luck, otherwise, this would not have been as urgent as it is. It’s not easy to ask for help but the reality is that we could end up homeless. We need to find ourselves a new home and fast. Even with us both working the deadline is too short for us to make it alone. We have no idea where we will/can move and if we can scramble up enough money in time but this is our shot at ending the bad luck that’s been plaguing us. I had no idea what to put as the goal with all of our uncertainties and felt like asking more would be unreasonable. This is our life. Our home. Everything. We have to leave and very soon.
