Hollywood Huskies Winter Drive

In 2016, Hollywood Huskies saved 30 dogs who are now happily adopted into loving homes. But many, many more dogs need our help. Our non-profit dog rescue is completely volunteer based, so 100% of your donation goes directly to saving another dog's life!
Our mission is to save and find permanent homes for Siberian huskies, husky mixes, and occasional “honorary huskies” (other breeds whose fate led them to be rescued by us). We rescue dogs who are on death row in shelters, abandoned, abused, and/or owner relinquished. Our dogs receive the training and medical care they need for success in their new homes.
For our first year, we had a one-time generous donation to help get us launched, but now we're on our own to fundraise enough money to keep saving more dogs. We need your help to keep going. Your donation will literally save another dog from dying or being euthanized. Every amount helps and donations to our non-profit are tax-deductible in the USA.
We rescue huskies in the greater Los Angeles area. Most of our dogs are adopted locally to homes in Southern California. Some of our huskies are individually and personally transported to Alberta, Canada by our founder Heather Schmidt to carefully pre-screened homes, where the huskies thrive in the snow and colder weather! And we are in the process of developing a program to help Canadian dogs in Canada too!
