Peter And Jeanette
Peter and Jeanette have survived a horror head on collision on Wednesday 25th January 2017 (sorry... i had 2016 in here, but it was only yesterday). A vehicle pulled in front of them at the last minute and hit them more on the right side of the vehicle. The other vehicle was ignited and Peter (our father) had to be shielded from the flames while they extinguished the blaze. Mum (Jeanette) was able to be removed from their vehicle and was air lifted to the Royal melbourne hospital with multiple injuries. She has 4 x fractures of her sternum, multiple fractures to her right hand (possibly requiring surgery), 2 x broken ribs, broken left collarbone and a T12 fracture, not including multiple bruises and abrasions. Dad has come away with 4 x broken ribs and internal bruising and cuts and abrasions.
There is going to be LOTS of rehab, therapy and support needed over a long time... hence why we have set this page up to assist their medical and travel expenses.
To all those donating... thankyou.
Shannan, Amelia and Lucy. (Their daughters).
The young man in the other vehicle is also okay.
