Holland's Ride

The friends and family of Holland Byrd are asking for your help. Holland was in a motocross accident in 2005 that resulted in paralysis from the neck down.  Holland is confined to a wheelchair and requires around the clock care. His courage, kind heart, intelligence and spirit are a inspiration to all that know him.

We want to give Holland a little of the freedom that his accident has taken from him. That is where the duet bike comes in, the duet bike is a 2 person bike, the bike separates into 2 pieces and  is easily transported in a vehicle. This bike gets Holland out of his wheelchair and into the great outdoors.

Holland was able to ride this bike with the Outdoors for All Foundation last summer. His bike ride was the first time he had been out of his wheelchair except to be transported in an ambulance in 14 years. The smile on his face after that ride is priceless.


Thank you for any help you can give, he's a great guy with a big heart. This bike would give a lot of  happiness to  someone who has survived tremendous hardship and loss with an awesome smile and a crazy sense of humor.
