Much anticipated Field Trip

As New York City public school teacher, I strive every day to instill the meaning of purpose and motivation within my students.  In September I began working at the Jeffery Rapport School for Career Development in the heart of one of the toughest communities in New York City, the South Bronx. The community is rampant with qualities that should be scarce to none in a community, but it is actually all our students really know, understand and embrace. Our students are diagnosed with Intellectual and Learning Disabilities and some suffer from an Emotional Disability. So you can imagine the, well let’s say, adrenaline, that comes rushing through the hallways on a daily basis.

Even though our children have been dealt such unfortunate cards we want to set up a field trip for them to
enjoy.  Many of the students of not all lack the resources needed for recreational activities. We are looking for donations to provide each one of our students with the chance to partake in our end of year school trip. We are looking to give them a day full of adventure and adrenaline pumping fun.

I am hoping you can be inspired by the determination and will find it in your heart to help us in providing a donation to our school.
