This holiday season, Nicole and Michaela have come together to ask you to please help us share the gift of giving through the Halifax Shoebox Project. It's our goal to donate 50 shoeboxes this winter!
These shoeboxes act as a powerful reminder to local women that they are not alone; someone in their community is thinking of them.
The cost of putting together a shoebox is $50. This includes something warm (fuzzy socks, mitts or a scarf) and something sweet (chocolate or candy), personal care products (shea butter, lip balm and journal) and a supportive message.
Any amount helps, so your contribution will still make a difference if you can't sponsor a whole shoebox. Please donate what you can to help give comfort, confidence and warmth to women in our community.
To ensure gifts are delivered and wrapped in time for the holidays, the deadline is November 30, 2018. This is so the shoeboxes can be dropped off before the December deadline.
