Hodgkin's Lymphoma Treatment Fund

**UPDATE**

After having my follow up appointment with the oncologist, we found out that the insurance company has fortunately approved of the chemotherapy EARLY! We spoke to them to get some pricing and it looks like we may need a bit more extra than we thought. So our goal has been raised to $10,000 to cover the treatment expenses from now until June/July. I thank you all so much for helping me already and it means the WORLD, I just ask if you may help us out one more time and to share with family and friends. I appreciate and love each and every single one of you. Thank you.

So.. for most of you that I engage with daily, you have known that I've been experiencing a sickness since August. I was dealing with incredible symptoms like insane night sweats, uncalled for shivers, itching out the wazoo, a cough like no other and additional conditions which made my day not so great.

From there till about November, I wasn't getting the treatment I needed, and luckily for me I was recommended by a friend of mine to make an appointment with Penn Medicine to take a look at some chest X-rays which I took that showed some suspicious lymph nodes. From there I saw a head and neck doctor who at first doubted any major issues with me and almost wrote it off as mono. However, due to an issue with my heart rate, he reconsidered and set me up with a CT scan. The CT scan came back with results showing multiple, large lymph nodes in many areas around my chest, neck and armpits. Needless to say, it was rough getting that news.

So I followed up with the doctor, received a needle biopsy and was scheduled for a surgical biopsy to remove a lymph node from my neck to check if the node is tumorous.  The surgery went very well and I thank the doctors that performed it. After about a week, I received the diagnosis which confirmed Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I saw my new doctor and I'm now getting prepped for Chemotherapy.

As most of you know, this will be rough physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially. My insurance is able to cover some costs but ultimately most of the costs will be coming out of my pocket. Being a post-grad still paying student loans, being able to budget monthly payments will be extremely difficult. I'm looking to possibly be having 12 treatments in 6 months time.

That is why I am reaching out to you, my friends, family and associates who have seen this all unfold into where I am today. I think of every one of you as a support line who has provided so much energy and great vibes up until this point. Let's keep the energy going. I am not asking for large amounts of donations, but anything you can give is ABSOLUTELY appreciated. It will help in the long haul with going through and finishing the Chemo sessions.

I love and cherish everyone who feels in their heart to provide support. I will never be able to express how grateful I am to you because it will take up more of this space than intended :). Thank you for considering to donate! Never be hesitant to reach out to me as well! I'm always available via phone or Facebook.
