NMU Women's Lacrosse Team- HELP!

Hey everyone welcome to the gofundme page for Northern Michigan University Women's Lacrosse! We started this team only one year ago and so far it has been gaining attention from students, the newspapers, the university, and professional lacrosse teams like the Minnesota Swarm. In one year we have increased our team membership from 15 to 30 fantastic women, moved up a conference league, and we will become an NCAA  team by 2016! We are a very promising team and extremely motivated  because we are in love with lacrosse: this is history in the making for womens lacrosse and for the Upper Peninsula since this is the first official UP womens team. However, since we still are a beginning team we lack the needed resources and funds to make some of our dreams come true.  We must provide all of our own transportation and lodging to tournaments (which are all out of state),  all of our uniforms and apparel are on us, and so is the equipment (balls, sticks, goalie gear, nets). As much as we would love to be able to support ourselves, we are falling behind in dues and money figures keep on increasing here and there. WE NEED YOUR HELP!! It would be a tragedy to let this team fall apart because of money issues when we have worked SO hard to be where we are today. Please help us play the sport we love and give others the opportunity to learn and play in the Upper Peninsula in the future.
